I know this, if my company (a major manufacturer in a different business) can't get rail, we start lining up the trucks and eat the extra expense. Customers first. I guess if you make autos or run an airline, that doesn't matter.
You might be right on the color of that car. Could be wishful thinking on my part. I'll bet on this though...there's only one white convertible with gray stripes and gray leather seats out there! I just posted the ask, but I don't think anyone on the 3/17 thread has a car yet.

When I checked on the Chevrolet website "track your order", my status is still 'qued for production', so I'm pretty sure mine hasn't been built. ![]() I just hope during the 2 week Camaro shut down, they can get that sea of cars shipped. Nothing worse than knowing your ride is built and NO rail cars to ship it....aarrgghh ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() April incentives...meh! Although 3.9% may be better than my credit union can do. Definitely worth checking out.

Hey Guys and Gals, Newbi here and I have just been reading your posts. I ordered a new Camaro SS on 3/31. Very excited, never ordered a car before. Always picked on off the lot. But this one is for my 50th birthday so I went all out. I am sure I will be bugging you all for the next 2-3 months waiting on my Camaro.
SS SSE Vert. Nav. A/T Thanks for putting up with me, prtsman133

I must ask...you are getting a vert and live in Alaska? I do not know about weather in Anchorage...does it get warm and sunny? Do you have your order number yet so you can get your TPW and start tracking? I'm keeping a journal again about this build. Congrats on your order!

Camaro_krazee, No order number yet. The salesman is going to call me Thursday when he gets back to work with it. Also I will be moving back South in November. I just moved up here for 3 years for work to help the company get some new stores going the right way. Will be going back to the Arkansas/Texas/Fl. area. And thanks for the welcome.

Ordered 1-10-14, TPW now shows 4-14-14. South Fl delivery so the dealer says typically 3 weeks after TPW to show. A long four months especially living in FL where I could be driving it !
White ZL1 Vert, black wheels, 6M, all options except the suede wheel & shift knob. Goodyear F1's off Michelin PSS on before delivery. |

Finally got confirmation that my car shipped out on Tuesday. I ordered 2/6, had TPWs of 3/3, then 3/10, then 3/17 when it was finally built. About five days out and back for stripes then sat for 10 days waiting for a railcar. If I get it next week, the whole process will have taken nine weeks.

![]() ![]() And, I think 9 weeks is more reasonable[despite it about kills me to wait THAT long!] than the "4-6 weeks" most dealers quote us. LOL! But...it IS definitely worth the wait! ![]() We expect pics ya know!!!
