My new 2LT/RS
Hi everyone
My name is Alan and last month I finally got my 2014 Red Hot 2LT/RS. I ordered it since I couldn't find what I wanted in my area...RS, manual, sunroof, and dual-mode exhaust. I thought about the SS but it was more of a want instead of a need...lol. Who knows, maybe I'll trade her in after I pay this off for a Gen6 SS. My previous car was a 1999 Mercury Cougar V6. My brother had a '93 Z/28. I love driving my car. The exhaust is awesome and it made my salesman add it to his 2013...lol. We started our cars next to each other to hear the difference and it is very noticeable between his stock v6 and mine. The slight modding will begin. I'm not going to mod a lot because then I would have shelled out the extra cash for the SS. Price difference was the main reason for getting a 2LT instead. Since the pic was taken I have tinted the windows and it really makes a difference in appearance...also with the Florida sun. I'm basically just going to get a CAI, kick plates, speaker rings, and a door sill....at least for now. I can feel the car getting more powerful every time I driver. It is just about broken in and this week I will finally open her up! -Alan |

Alen, your ZLS is awesome...pretty sweet you did to it! Blue-J, your Hot Wheels edition is awesome. The dealer had one in the showroom they were trying to get rid of...it was verrrrry tempting. I was at the dealership signing some paperwork because my car had just came in and I wanted to check it out. It was a 2SS...but automatic. They were saying for me to leave the car I ordered and buy the HW. If it was a stick...they could have twisted my arm and I probably would have taken it...lol. They were offering it for a pretty deal |
