87 Octane in a SS

Have you ever let some one borrow your car and wondered what of they put 87 in instead of 91, I know most of you wouldnt let any one borrow your ride but my step pops asked to borrow my car and I let him n he was gone for quite a while which I didnt mind and when I got back into my car after him returning the fuel level was about the same which I thought cool he must have not gone far or he replaced the gas and got me wondering if he had put 87 instead of 91 so I decided to make sure every one who pumps gas into this car knows to make sure its 91 Premium instead of Regular 87 Unleaded. Sorry for sideways pic but I think itll get the point across

Good idea! Kinda reminds me of all the trucks at work that take diesel. They all have big stickers by the gas caps that say, DIESEL FUEL ONLY!

As to how far he drove I really dont know any where from 5-30 miles my guess he always asks to use my car and I agree to let him but I think he gets nervous about driving and I think he scratched that itch hes had to drive it which was fine with me only had 1/4 tank and returned it with a bit less but oh well not like im sayin the motor was gonna blow just didnt wanna hear it knock

I was gonna do it as soon as the rest of the fuel in there ran low and topped it off with some 91

There is this new grammatical invention called a "period." You should use them. My eyes.

You don't know how far he drove or if he put 87 in it? Why not just ask him both questions?

What's the deal with the fuse pull? Does that let you put 87 octane in your tank without engine issues?

The point of the thread was to inform other people whom I let borrow my car to to make sure they know to pump 91

I'll try to decipher what you mean: The point of this thread was to inform other people, that when allowing others to borrow your car, only put 91 or higher in it.

Am I close? No disrespect.
