Im at 9 weeks and this is killing me , but know theyre are others worse off . Ordered black ss rs stick 2ss black interior on 5/19.

i think some people that preordered last year still have no car so i say they are worse off

i mean my order is progressing very fast, it will be something like 5 weeks from order to production and that is killing me i cant imagine what some people who have been waiting 30+ weeks

There's a black ss/rs with ground efx sitting at my local dealer for sale. Can't believe its been there over 2 weeks. Almost makes me wish I had gotten black instead of RJT. They must be asking way over MSRP.

Thats what im affraid of , im not up on the whole allocation process but ordered mine thru a very small dealer who mainly sells trucks in a town of 5000 people!

Ordered 10-17

Car is in transit somewhere now though so I'm out of the 1100 club.

After three or four months you get used to it. I'll probably pick it up on the 14 or 15 this month as I'm on vacation in a couple days. So just short of 10 months. Been a year since no 4th gen as it was stolen and wrecked when I went on vacation last time. I've had bad luck when I came back from vacations the last few times.

I know a guy who own a dealership. He said that GM would not allocate orders if they had too much 08 and 09 inventory. Your dealer probably didn't tell you that. You should go order from a well established, long known dealer. Your wait time will be 2 to 3 months.

Don,t know who's fault mine is but I just wish someone would tell the truth and not a pre decided answer . No matter who you talk to Dealer/manufacturer there is no answer . I could put up with the wait if they would only tell the truth . So for anyonr to think it is'nt GM's fault is wrong . They should tell their trained monkies to tell the truth instead of them having to go to a great site like this to find out the truth .
