Well, going through 3 cars so far :( However, the dealer just had a 2SS / RS black on black, 6 spd Manual fall through, and I just had him move it to my order. I'll get confirmation tomorrow. It doesn't have the CGM stripes or the GFX package, but that can be added. It has an approximate arrival date of 8/14
 We'll see! Anyone wanna but a truck?  Edited: Ok, forget it. This dealership is wasting my energy  I was called back after taking the incoming car that fell through and told I could have it for an additional $3K, or just keep my mid-to-late October delivery. Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum, but am just as excited as everyone here for my own Camaro  .Model: 1LT (RS, auto, Boston Acoustics 9-speaker system) Imperial Metallic Blue (a similar blue to my dad's old Trans Am )Ordered: 7/23/09 From: Jimmie Johnson Chevy in San Diego It's been two weeks, but I know I have to be patient because when me, my dad, and my brother went to order it, we were informed that I was #15 on the wait list. But finding this forum does help the time pass. I'm hoping I have some luck and I receive my Camaro before going back to Irvine for school at the end of September, but I'll assume I'll see it around November or later. Nice to meet everyone here.

Number #15 WOW it will be long hang in there .............call around I found a alloaction in Monrovia CA. for my Boss and his order was acceppted in one day ...Just a thought?But congrats on the buy!!!!!
P.S. Ask the dealer how allocations he gets each month?

Thanks, I'll be sure to ask about the allocations next time I have a chance.
I sent an email earlier today to see the status and some other small things, like VIN number and event codes when they're available. But I'll be patient. The Camaro is sort of an early graduation present from my dad for graduating college next year haha. So there really is no rush. Still, it would be nice to have a sexy Camaro to cruise around while still in college.... I'll keep everyone here posted once I get more news .
