Ok non Z related but indirectly it is.

Just read that in March Ram outsold Silverado........if this continues GM is f%#~|{ed beyond belief. And that impacts GM having Z $$$

That may be part of the reason J. F. was promoted from Camaro to Silverado...

They're on such a roll with performance cars (Camaro, Corvette...), luxury cars (Cadillac) and others this is surprising.

IMO, the exterior styling is to conservative, too evolutionary. Park the old style next to the new and they look different. At just a short distance a stand alone new truck is hard to identify.

I hope TEAM Camaro is watching closely.

The new Colorado looks promising... not sure how big a market mid sized trucks are these days.

From the front it's easier to tell. From the back I'm always looking for the corner bumper step. The Z71 grill is the only one I like but I think it's a great looking truck. The V6 is completely pointless. Only one MPG highway better than the 5.3 and too close in price to it. I stopped and looked at a Z71 regular cab and loved the look and the towing options that it had. At $39K I thought it was too expensive and then when I saw that it was a V6 I thought Chevy had lost their minds. Pricing has been adjusted with rebates but really it's where it should have been all along.

It's definitely grabbed my attention. I've survived without a pickup in 15 years of driving but this Colorado could end up my next DD. Pricing and MPG will have to be impressive to win over my logical side because I have a feeling my heart will love this next Camaro.
