I had to replace mine about a month ago, got a rock chip right before winter and i waited to long to get it fixed and it cracked all the way across during our first really cold day. I had to pay out of pocket because my chintzy insurance company doesnt have windshield replacement. I got a pilkington windshield for HUD eqipped cars for $550 installed

Best price I've received was from CalAlta glass at $850 (plus GST), BUT, they are running a food bank drive - a $10 donation will give you a $100.00 discount. Otherwise my quotes are in the same range. One company gave me a quote for a non HUD windshield of $420.

Keep us posted on your findings as well. I was curious more than anything, I won't be replacing mine this year.

If you live in Oklahoma and are in or around the Tulsa area, Big Daddy glass is who I used.

Well got my car back today from having the windshield replaced.

Total cost $1,035 for a Pinkelton windshield ($900 for the glass with HUD and $135 labor and materials). Total cost to me $0. I have a zero dollar deductible so insurance paid for it in full.

Hi everyone, just a update on the price of the windshield. Believe it or not I got a windshield from the dealer for $548.80 plus install. That's for a windshield with HUD and car starter. The only thing is it has to come out of the states , about 3 weeks, this is for a factory windshield. That's savings of about$300.

That is great information! Especially for those without glass coverage or looking to have a HUD windscreen installed. Any idea what install is going to be?

You are getting bent right over with a quote like that! My 13 with HUD was 550 at Glass Masters in Calgary! Service and workmanship were top notch! And if you have HUD and don't install the proper windshield you will have a blurry projection. That was last year when I had mine done so it appears that pricing has gone up a bit!

Like I stated before, I only paid $550 for my replacement windshield, and its a pilkington for HUD equipped cars. Actually $50 was for them to come out to my house so really the windshield was $500

There should be no reason that you need to pay over $550 for a windshield.

Wow....$900 for a windshield? That's insane. I paid $350 to have the one in my truck replaced...and it is a bigger windshield! I have to get the one in my Camaro replaced this spring as it has a crack across the whole thing. I sure hope it isn't $900. That just seems way out to left field.
