first decent autocross in my 1le
this is my second event in my 1le (the first was 30 degrees). i spent the entire day trying to get a feel for the car since i was coming from a miata. i took significant time off through my first 4 runs but hit a cone on my 4th so my 3rd was the fastest. i hit a cone early in my 5th run so that became my fun run. overall i think the car did great but the course was to tight and i need to get use to the car. i will say for the events around here this is not really a autocross car its home is on a track, altho it can compete really well in its class since i was able to run within a sec (raw time i did just clip a cone) of a guy that can consistently run in the top 5 of pax out of 70 and it was my first time "really driving the car" on the OE tires with 13,000 miles on them. i also made some guys day letting him ride along during one of my runs.
this is my 4th run i messed up the title for the other video http://youtu.be/MOeLkGLa75Y this is my 3rd http://youtu.be/jE9tQIQkOyc |

Nice, seemed like a tight course compared to what we have here.

Yeah I will say that after watching a few autocross events in my area last year the spacing of the course can make a big difference. Courses that are very tight and compacted will be much more difficult in the Camaro's over cars like the Miata and Honda S2000's. They are just smaller cars and can get in and out between the cones easier. But I'm sure it was still a blast to drive and participate in.
