"Engine Power Reduced"/"Service Stabilitrack"

Hello fellow Camaro family!

So, i have a 2012 2Lt RS Camaro;
Today, i had just gotten off the freeway, made a few stops, stopped to get gas, and when i returned home, the moment i put my car in park, the dashboard came up saying 'Engine Power Reduced' and 'Servie Stabilitrack'
I turned off the car, turned it on again and it said the same thing; so i did it again and this time only the check engine light was on..

i am taking it to the dealership in the morning but curious if anyone has had similar issues, what the results/solutions were, or what causes this?

Thanks!!

this seems to be a fairly common problem. I know you get the Reduced Power mode if there is a connection issue with the throttle body. if you can, jiggle the connector on the throttle body. if problem goes away, that's probably the cause.

i just dropped it off at the dealership, we'll see what the issue is
this morning too my remote start wouldn't work either;; lights would flash as usual before the engine would start, then nothing

After installing my catch can, i forgot one of the electrical connectors. i had pulled it in order to fit my hand to where the catch can hooked up.
Went away after reconecting the electrical conector.
I hope that's all it is for you

Whenever the SES light is on the remote start will not work, it's just like when the hood is open, it won't work either. I'm sure it's something simple like the throttle position sensor or may an ECM update.

Alright all, after only 3 hours dealership called me back and said my car was fixed! All it was was something with the sensors out of calibration so they just had to reprogram it! nothing serious and have my beast back!
