2013 to 2014 bumper conversion

OK I know I can't be the only one wanting to see this, but who has actually completed the 2014 front fascia swap on a 2010-2013 camaro. Post pictures please I'm curious.

You go first....

hahaha.

Seriously. I think because it's pretty much going to be the ENTIRE front end, (and the hood lines not matching if you use an SS front end so it may need reworking unless you buy the hood too) it's not going to be as cheap as one might think. Especially if you have the RS package.

Maybe with an aftermarket '14 bumper the differences in the lines won't be that great?? Just a thought

Actually, we just did a test fit on a '14 a few weeks ago and the lines around the hood and fenders are exactly the same as the '10-'13. All mounting points are the same. The only difference is of course the upper grille area. Also the top surface where the mail slot is located on SS bumpers is wider from front to back. So I don't think you should have a problem mounting a '14 bumper on a '10-13 Camaro

They will physically fit and bolt up. But the 2014 SS hood lines on the fascia are much wider than the 2014 V6 version. The V6 2014 fascia looks to be the same width as the 2010-2013 hood lines (non-ZL1). If I were to bet, the 2014 V6 hood is the same part number as the earlier non-ZL1 hoods. Of course, you could move the SS fascia lines to match your current hood if you choose.

V6 and V8 14 dont have the same hood or bumper body lines, and then there is all the harness's needed to do it, LOL

Yeah, I agree. The hood lines will be different between 2014 SS and 2010-2013. The Aggressor uses the same mounting points and upper surfaces as the 2010-2013 and as you can see, it lines up pretty well with the exception of the headlights. By the way, not trying to sell Aggressor bumpers here, lol.

Here is the Aggressor fascia installed on a 2014 V6:

I was JUST wondering about this myself yesterday.. I really love the way the new front end looks.. Too bad there isn't an aftermarket style option that gets close.. or is there?

So if I randomly bought a 13 Black SS, I can get away with the 14 RS front and rear bumpers and tails, everything bolts on?

I really hate the not-quite-the-right-size hood scoop on the 14's.

Nutro is probably the man to ask. He just completed his front bumper swap.

You still have another issue of the ZL1 hood lines not matching up with either of those. The LS hood lines would be too narrow and the SS hood lines would be too wide. Again, unless you used a ZL1 hood or modified the hood lines. But it should work. I say should. Not sure about the wiring part. Ofer would know.
