DD here and ride a CBR600RR or run around errands with an old pickup on the weekends.

It kinda is, and it kinda isn't. Lol, I have a work truck that I drive around in, to and from work. But as soon as I get home I drive the Camaro everywhere possible. It doesn't really matter. I bought mine used and it was the previous owner's DD. It's a 2010 with 57k miles. Kinda high, but I love the car, and later on I plan on trading up the SS anyway.

Ours is a Weekend car show car also . Didn't buy it for that , but ended up doing it . We have a 2011 with less than 11,000 miles on it and just trying to keep it really nice. Its like having a camper, boat or bike. A seasonal enjoyment. Where we live of course that makes it harder to enjoy . It only is on the road from May till October.. But I enjoy the hell out of it in the summer...;l

my car's a daily driver AND a weekend car. purchased on september 2013, i've already put 16,000 miles on it.
it's the most fun investment that i ever made.

Concidering I have put 138,000 miles on my charger in a 3 years since I bought it (now has 159k miles) there is no way in my right mind I would ever use a Camaro as my daily. It will be babied and cleaned after every joyride. 50 miles one way to work is just way too many miles. Gas mileage I really don't care about since my charger is only averaging 19mpg, but if I'm not mistaken I'll be getting better than that out of an LS3

Definitely a weekend - holiday - nice weather-only-cruiser. It's in "storage" in the carport from late October through early April. Almost 3 years old and only 4,500 miles on the odometer. LOVE my 'vert.

I don't drive my HW edition in the winter. bought 4/1/13, as of 4/1/14 it had 8854 for miles. I bought a used SMART car for my winter car but it has exceeded my expectations for a small car and I drive it when weather threatens to hail or whatever. Cheaper to fix that then the Camaro or my GF BMW X3

Mine has been a DD since I got her one year ago this month. 2010 with only 2400 on the odometer when I picked her up. Currently at 15600 to include the 2000 mile trip home with her and 4000 miles worth of road trips up and down the east coast.
I'll make her a fair weather/weekend driver again when I can pick up another decent beaterr/DD next year.

I drive mine in - nice weather, mostly in the city and mostly weekends.
The 300 is my daily driver tho, was so pissed earlier this week cause I got dinged in a parking lot.. I wouldve been more heated if it was my Camaro lol.

Weekends only. I would like to keep the car many years. Plus it saves me on gas (have an SS) and lower insurance due to low mileage.
I also don't drive it Dec-Mar. Goes in storage. |
