Do I need a retune?
So I'm going from a air raid intake to the vararam and also adding a ported throttle body. Will I need a retune or should I be good to go. I read a thread saying just switching intakes it isn't required but I wasn't sure about a TB as well.
Thanks! |

You don't need one for the throttle body but I have heard if you add a Vararam a tune is required.

Depends on the varna am cai you bought, there were two types a untuned version and one that requires a tune to maximize the gain

I know the tune one needs a tune. I'm already tuned so I'm asking if I need to get another tune?

I tell owners of cars I tune that they can switch from intake to intake ( example Air raid to CAI) and not have a problem with the tune, but if you switch from anything to the vararam come back and let me look at it because it will lean out more than other intakes at WOT. The dyno wont reflect it as much as on the street.
