I just opened the box that the catch can came in. I have the L99 kit and the mounting bracket now mounts to a pulley.
I thought it mounted to the radiator support bracket. Looks a little more involved now. Anyone get the bracket I got ??? Any problems for a rookie to install ? |

I guess I didn't pay attention when ordering it. Does the pulley have to come off ? That is my fear with this. Last edited by punk5150; 04-11-2014 at 05:51 AM. |

No, and it's not the pulley bolt, it's just a cover bolt. Just remove the bolt and install the bracket, 2 minute job. Sent from my AGM, 2SS/RS |

Does it matter if one of the hoses sits a little on the valve cover ? Will it melt or damage the hose ?

With only 31 miles I would not expect to see anything yet. Our catch can has a very large filtration chamber and a much greater quantity of filtration media than other systems. It tends to hold on to a certain amount of oil vapor before it starts draining into the bottom. Give is another 100-150 miles and you will see it start to accumulate.
