We'll my remote start stopped working all of a sudden. Weird thing is when I hit lock then hold down rem start..it flashes like it's going to turn on but nothing. No CELs on the dash either. Please anybody think of anything? I just installed Ofer's halo harness and everything worked fine for a week until today

My remote start randomly stops working also. Haven't pinpointed what's causing it but it seems like ever since I installed my led scanner it's been acting up. My windows stop working sometimes too.

I have same issue with my Remote Start . This happened since I installed my VMAX Throttle body.

I had to disconnect the Battery to do the ported throttle body and now the remote start option does just like you said, flashes... I hear a tick and nothing.
Will try to read if any codes... Maybe disconnect the battery all night . Any suggestions ?

You all had your hoods open, remote start will not operate if it thinks the hood is still open, just a thought.

Yes in fact, I had my car tuned by Trifecta so you're right, maybe the CEL should have came on. Now the Tune is preventing it from coming on and that's why the Engine wont remote start.

I will do a code scanner and see if it picks up any errors...

MMC The hood is closed and the car was fully locked.

I fixed it !

Using my phone's Torque App , I scanned for any faults stored in the ECU , guess what ! Plenty !

Below is a print screen. After clearing them, I restarted the car, drove around and checked again for any faults, nothing came up !
These faults were due to the install of the new ported Throttle body / IceOlator and Plenum Spacer.

The engine had to adjust itself to the new parts.

I tested the remote Start feature , it works !
