Yep sunvisors are worthless. Plus they aren't big enough to allow me to put up a sunshade.

When its 120 outside I need something to block the sun from my face, sunglasses don't solve that problem.

I've wondered if this is some sort of government regulation. Maybe they can't cover more than xx% of the window when down

^wise words of wisdom right here.. if it were even 4 inches bigger, it would cover up the whole windshield view. Look at it with the perspective "What if this was just a LITTLE bigger?" You'd see that you would just about have to look through the bottom of the steering wheel to see anything! The sun is the least of your problems then, lol.

Agreed - Ray-Bans do a great job - my Wayfarers never fail me...

As for the sun visors I ignore them though my wife likes to point out her purse's make-up mirror is larger than the one on the sun visor, let alone its not lighted. My response "Hey its a muscle car, not a salon..."

I noticed that back at the Chicago auto show when I sat in the car for the first time. I don't think I've ever touched them in my car yet. Good quality sunglasses for the win. I use poloarized Nike's with a slight blue / purple tint but that's just my preference.

i would say just common sense... if its not a gov. regulation and someone makes a visor that covers up more than a safe amount of view, it will become a gov. regulation pretty quick!
