2013 vs. 2014 1LE lap time comparison
I had an interesting and likely controversial thought. We should see which year car is quicker around the same course with the same driver. Of course you'd need identically optioned stock cars run on the same day (and session preferably) and the same driver.
I'd love to see whether the improved aero on the '14s make any real difference on the road course. Maybe Cornerspeed or others can check this out at their excursion to Autoclub Speedway this May? Sounds like there will be a good contingent of 1LEs there?

A 2013 1LE vs 2014 1LE? The difference would be negligible.

That is what I thought for a small course but it might be more of a difference if it was a larger, faster course like at Fontana due to the better aero on the 14s.

Maybe at 130 or 140+ not any track it's likely to see.
