Kills me, 'outdated already'?? It was meant as a tribute to the Gen 1, by definition...forget it...

Me I love the looks, I am relocating south in about 4 years, at that time I may want a rust free G5, in which case I'd be looking for a '12-'13 lo mile SS or ZL1. I won't be interested in the G6...

I made this question because because I heard many mustang owners are going to get rid of their cars to get the new gen... also most of people here in the states change cars more often than socks... and just want to know If someone decided to change their camaros for the upcoming G6 or keep her for a long time for your personal collection?

BTW... some one just notice that is getting harder to find good V8 F-bodys in good conditions at a good price? why its happening that? its not supposed the prices to go down every year the car becomes older and older?
If the clutch/tranny issue can't be fixed, I might look at trading it in when the lease is up. If I get that fixed, I'd like to keep it forever and ever.

Maybe by then I'll be a good enough mechanic to replace both the clutch and the tranny... but that's probably not gonna happen.

I plan on keeping the '10 for years, unless i get the chance to upgrade to a 5th gen v8. However, I may be looking at a 50th aniv. edition to add to the garage.

I plan on keeping mine as it's a garage queen and when I'm dead it will be left to my son. I continue to quiz him on its care so that when I'm long gone he will take car of it properly. can't wait for the next gen which I'm sure to get as I have a daughter that wants to know which cars I'll be hers

When the 6th gen comes out, we will be (No country for old men), we will be redundant, old fashioned ... C5 forum will discontinue our accounts.

They will ask us to leave gently or they will call the police

A new order will rule the world, just like the transformers movie

Keeping my car as long as possible. Going to be doing some touch-ups on the paint and resurfacing the rims this summer. I want to take great care of my car and keep it for as long as possible.

A friend of mine's Mom bought a Mustang when she was 16. She kept up with the maintenance and service and took great care of it-- 40 years later, her son (my friend) gets to drive it and inherits it when he gets to a certain age. I think there's something to be said for cars like this. I hope to follow this path.

This is THE car I've always dreamed about having for the last 44 years (since college) and I have no intentions of EVER getting rid of it.
I will someday replace my '08 Malibu, but I will never get rid of my ZL1.

I really want to keep my 5th Gen for a long time. Hopefully, I will be able to do everything I would like to modification wise if I keep it longer. But, if the 6th Gen blows me out of the water it may take me a lot to keep my hands off one.
