DO NOT, I REPEAT...DO NOT GO TO A CHEVY DEALER FOR CUSTOM WORK. They are not there for custom jobs, they are there to sell cars. I got my bowtie black outs on here for $20. As others have said, Plastidip is $5 and it lasts a long time. Don't make a scene at the dealer. You didn't do your homework on here first. You got raped because of it. Live and learn!

Did mine at home cost 5 bucks. Really it's all in the prep work if you do a good prep job even with less quality product it can still look good.

That was what I noticed. They must have gone up a lot since I got mine in 2012.

looks good, did you just spray with the emblem on the car or remove and spray?
i see you got the chair set up right there too, nothing like doing work yourself

I always think the exact opposite. The ONLY time I go to the dealer is for warranty work. Otherwise, numerous better options for everything.

Classic Chevrolet body shop in Grapevine, TX did my stripes and interior paint. Awesome job and very reasonable price.

Trying to decide how to do front bowtie... I dropped my screwdriver into bumper area when trying to pry tabs and couldn't reach it, had to remove this black metal piece that runs around hood release. Still don't have bowtie off, I thought it would be easier to remove this one to do since its on a grill...
