Ofer.

I still say that you need to look at the cabin fuse panel on your neighbors ZL1 to get the values for the fuse that went out in my car and the other fuse that could be involved. As for how the test went on my car, well we did learn something and you did not break my car, we just had a fuse go out. I am sure with all the Mods that you have created, you have blown a lot of fuses. I also went by the dealership today and THEY LOVE the latest Mods that I have done.

While we are waiting for Ofer to update us on the progress, how hard is to to pull the dash? I assume that pulling the dash is a must. I drive a very powerful 2010 SS and sadly I dont have a HUD to watch critical parameters.

I'm doing the MyLink conversion as soon as it arrives (soon I hope). Is there any benefit in doing the HUD conversion at the same time?

I am not entirely sure, but from what I've seen on these forums, especially since I'm trying to switch out my MyLink to one that has Nav, is that you don't need to remove the entire dash to install mylink, I think it's just around the device itself.
Pretty sure but I could be wrong.

Yes there is some benefit to doing it at the same time, you dont have to pull the center console out 2 times and all the radio parts 2 times too.

I was just thinking about this color HUD upgrade the other day and wondering why no one had tried this yet!

Sweet.

When I had my SS camaro I did it with Ofer at his house in just about a days time(10-12 hours at most). It's a lot of work and alot of screws in awkward places.

I remember though that we spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get the 2012 steering wheel off lol. (this was when they first came out)
