Blacked out tail lights
Ok so I have stupid question. I have just spent the last 30 minutes looking for anything that could help me figure out the best way to black out my tail lights. Ive seen it done many times and I am looking the best and most efficient way. Hopefully someone here can enlighten me. Also, what other parts of the car are easily blacked out. Im looking for more of an aggressive look thats not going to take to much of a toll on my wallet. Thanks for any help!

I used one of these kits to black out all the lights on the entire car... worked quite well.

Both are vendors on here. I believe big worm also has a coupon for c5 members. Sent from somewhere on the road.

Started out with one of the kits, have removed them from diving lights and tail lights. Had them sprayed with clear coat with black paint as a tint. Nice smoked look and looks much better than the plastic stuck on the light lenses.

I didn't have an opinion about blacking out the tail lights until the other day. I saw someone get rear ended coming to a stop, and the person who got hit had his tail lights blacked out. He ended up getting tickets and they charged him with causing the accident as the person who hit him said he could not see the brake lights. I had to stop as a witness, and heard what the officer was giving him as far as tickets. I would now assume his insurance is now responsible for repairing both cars?

Just get the pre-cut reverse tint on Ebay. They are easy to install and easy on the wallet. You will need a hair dryer or heat gun to help convince the flat tint to conform to the curved surface. I got the 70% and was worried it might be too light but it wasn't....they appear dark and the lights are still bright at night. 70% on side markers as well. Orange up front.

Just got mine in from big worm graphics. I did the tailights, reverse lights, and side markers in their "charcoal" tint. It's their darkest version.
