Looks good I may do that to mine until I decide what Exhaust system I want.
By the way how much were you looking to spend on exhaust if you can buy bedroom furniture with that money.

How do you like the MRT V2 axle back? Any issues with the installation? Does anyone know to what extent this impacts the GM warranty on the car?

Well, I figured around 1K, maybe more. That figure was based on what my local Chevy dealer showed me. And that was cat-back, which they recommended. I almost did it too. Of course I could have spent much less by being savvy but I wanted to have the dealer do it, avoiding any mishaps (pulling codes) by a custom auto shop, and for warranty purposes I wanted to stick with Chevy. That's just how I roll.

Did mine a few months after I bought it but then the whole system got replaced for a broken weld or some crap a year or so later an I have not had a chance to redo mine. The paint mod makes them all but disappear, think it's one of the best an cheapest exterior cosmetic mods a person could do!!!!

I think I'll do this this weekend. Is the paint found at a hardware store or automotive store? Is it an easy job? (I have to decide who to enlist to help me :~p )

Paint looks surprisingly good! Nice choice. Really like the pic posted of the MRT 2 next to the stock mufflers. I installed these last year. Paid around $525 without shipping. Never regretted it. The install was done in my driveway. Sawsall, or hacksaw and a little sweat. Under an hour using a jack. Just went to a shop yesterday and paid $20 to have a tack weld placed to make sure the mufflers don't move. They've been solid up to now, just wanted some piece of mind.
