If your tank was filled when new with 87-89 octane and you have been running premium since then, do the fuse pull you will see a good difference. I just asked because I didnt know if it still applied to the 2014's.

Check this link....

The car will slightly suffer in performance unless this is done after running low grades of fuel.
ok so i'm good, even when i took delivery of mine, it was still on e from the truck, then the salesman (who has sold me 3 cars) took me and filled it with 93 from the start. thanks for clearing this up because i work at a dealer and have not heard of this shtuff before
forgive my boldness but i've been hot rodding cars for along time and have to call b.s. sometimes

No worries but if I was you I would do it anyways since when GM put enough gas in it to get it on and off the truck I bet they didnt use premium...

Just pull them out 1 evening if your not gonna drive the car and leave them out until the next morning and then reinstall them before driving and your good to go

Exactly I have thee EXACT same story with my salesguy. I did the fuse pull anyway and didn't see any difference. But the fuse pull should be executed anytime a lower grade enters the tank because the CPU won't reset itself to thinking premium is in the tank. It'll basically run as if 87 is still in the until you do the fuse pull

OK I just did this so well see what happens tomorrow... Maybe I'll wake up with a 600hp beast in the driveway...lol...but isn't there a fuse to pull so the npp exhaust always stays open?
