you can place an order, no constraints. but waiting for it is another problem and Im sure it is going to be worth the wait.

Me. I have open allocation and sell at MSRP. What you heard re MN6 constraint is BS...it was only 1 week. I ordered a 2SS MN6 for a forum member Saturday 8/1/09.

If I could honor the military discount, I would. Thank you for your service; my son is active duty.

my dealer called me and told me that if i didnt revise my order to an automatic i would have to wait till Dec. to get the car. Thats when i decided to go find one instead of wait for the one i ordered.

I dont doubt that at all man. I actually got a better deal with this car anyway, it came with the 21" upgraded rims, and i got this one under msrp instead of paying full msrp. So i guess it was just ment to be.

I ordered manl trans 2SS last week of July and im at 3000 a week later.

So this cant be true.

Where did you try and order from? I am in Northern Virginia and contacted a dealer about possibly placing an order and they told me there is a constraint on placing manual SS orders. I would be willing to be it is the same place.

Sounds like Virginia dealers are not up to date with current info...thats sad.

Battlefield Chevrolet in Culpepper are selling at MSRP, they have been helpful through out the process. I believe another member got a military discount through them as well.

I asked this question a few weeks ago on here because I was interested in ordering too...
fbodfather... answered me by saying "go order you car now"! He explained that unless there is a 0% constraint on something... they are still producing it... the word constraint can be used to just define that the demand for Manual SS cars are higher than expected. If a dealer is telling you they can not order manual... that is not true. I know that a local dealer near me said to me that manual camaro are rare now... so they are charging $4,000 over list price.
