DO NOT let the dealership wash your car unless you would like more swirls in your paint!

Total was about $225. $450 would have to include a lot of stuff...I looked at getting the gear box oil changed, but that was $60 a quart and way too much labor charges.

At about 12k miles I had the differential gear oil changed because of a rubbing/growling/chunking sound and this was done free under a technical service bulletin (TSB). It solved the problem for a while, but it has come back. I didn't do anything on this visit and may have to take it back in a week or two. (this is only for the V6 manual transmission).

One other thing...I understand there is a passenger compartment filter under the windshield wiper cowl that can be changed and I will do that next.
why do you say the LS does not need tire rotation?

LS tires can be rotated if they are all the same size. I'm saying that the offset tire sizes (primarily Pirelli's) don't get rotated.

I have it specifically written on the Service Request for them to NOT wash my Camaro when it has to be at the dealer. Which has only been twice so for Warranty work.

30,000 mile service

Dealer rip off .... Can't rotate different size tires & wheels on SS. Not sure when the last time a modern car needed to be greased, due to sealed fittings. Fuel injection cleaning..... Another waste of money, just run a bottle of name brand cleaner from discount auto parts store... $6
Most of the " check this" stuff is done for free or $29.00 by most dealerships.

Most of this is a waste of money, stealerships trying to rip you off. Do what the manual says and nothing more.
