HP Tuners and a Windows Tablet

Anybody using a tablet to run HP Tuners? Any issues? Was looking at Surface2.

As long as HP Tuners is compatible with windows 8.1 (It doesn't say specifically that it is on their website) and you buy the Surface 2 pro it should work without a problem. You might run into things where it becomes difficult to click since the software is not optimized to be used on a touch screen device.

It is important to note that it will not work on the non pro models as those run what is called Windows RT and is basically a mobile version of windows. My recomendation though is to look at something other than the Surface Pro. It is very overpriced and if you are looking at something for just HP Tuners Dell has a few tablets that run a full version of Windows 8.1 now that are as low as $300

Thanks guys!! Just like the idea of the tablet size and able to leave in glove box opposed to carrying around my laptop.

I use a 10" Acer Netbook running XP Pro, should be able to find one on the cheap.

I use a MacBook Pro 13" using Bootcamp win 7. Screen is a little tight. As stated, laptop may be easier due to flexible screen angles and keyboard.

I love my surface 2 pro and thought about it, but type keyboard, touch screen, and inflexible screen angles will make it difficult to street log by an individual.
