Ford offers a performance package that includes exhaust, intake, and tune (I think) for the Mustang. Tune is definitely in there, the other two is where I'm unsure. The nice thing about it is that it doesn't void your warranty at all if installed at an authorized Ford dealer.

I can't imagine that Chevy isn't looking at that very closely, and we'll probably see some sort of similar 'starter kit' available through them.

If yer listening, GM, I WOULD BUY IT.
I would too.

I wouldn't buy it, sometimes packages are nice, but i wanted certain companies parts and i wanted to do mine my way. But packages wouldn't be a bad idea, people that finance could add them on to help pay for them and such. Its nice to have choices regardless.

To me, preserving the warranty is somewhat important. I factor that in to the value proposition of these sorts of things over going 'pure' aftermarket.

Yes, I know I'll get better results for my money from a dyno tune...but the warranty does carry a tangible cost.

Well Id do it in a second to have performance upgrades from factory w/o having to worry bout warranty issues. Id rather have maybe a few bigger name parts I favor which would prob get a little better performance but the GM in GM performance means "Guaranteed Muscle" in my book lol
