Gotta disagree. Your pic is a Landau roof. The Camaro in question has a simulated convertible roof, fully covered not half-covered. The snaps around the rear of the Camaro's C-pillars are rear window clinch it.

1980s style full vinyl top..


doesn't fit on the Camaro, but my 1985 (dads last vehicle before he passed) Ford Crown Victoria LTD has one and it is very nice for this specific model, year, design:

complete with opera lights on the side: (not mine, but mine looks exactly like this)



while personally I am not a big fan of the vehicle overall, it holds sentimental value being my fathers last car before he passed on, mine has 79,000 original miles on it (yes 30 years old with 79K on the clock) it's a boat to drive, floats over the road.. 185hp of gutlessness. But hey it was dads..

If only the convertible tops looked that good... I would have bought one. Not a vinyl top fan though.

That is the Hardtop Convertible people have been asking for.........

It would have been more believable if the onStar antenna had been relocated to the trunk and they had used a smooth black trim instead of chrome with snaps.

I had a funny thought. Someone goes to a used car lot on a rainy day and looks at one of these. The typical used car sales person fails to tell him that its not a real convertible and the guy buys it. A couple days later he takes it to his Chevy dealership and complains the top won't retract on his convertible........Humiliation and embarrassment will be the result...
