I have a question I hope someone can answer. I keep asking my dealer the ol allocation question and I can not get a straight answer. I keep explaining to him how the allocation thingy works as best as I know it and he keeps telling me that if they didn't have an allocation my car wouldn't have been accepted. But it is still at code 1100 and I ordered on June 13th. My question is is there any way to find out a dealers allocation without relying on the dealer to tell me?

In a nut shell... NO. They would need to tell you and they are not doing you any justice right now. 1100 is NOT accepted by GM, it just means it in the system and you have a workbench number. 2000 is when the action starts. Pre-2000 and your just in allocation limbo!

You are not getting a straight answer because if he tells you you aren't getting one soon, you will bail and go elsewhere, which they don't want. Some dealers are only concerned about one thing. THE SALE. they don't care when or if you enjoy the experience, they just want your benjies.

Is it fair for a dealer to have me in the order bank since 05/07/09 @ 1100 because of the supplier price from credit union others paying more are getting ahead of me and way up on event code Please help what should I do? THIS IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS FOR GM!

Well... if you are at 1100 and orders that were placed at 1100 AFTER you, they must have put you at a lower priority. Most dealers put everyone it at priority #1. Then they get pulled in order of being taken. IF you are priority 2 and everyone else at 1100 is #1, you will sit there until there are no more 1100s at #1.

Your supplier/CU discount should not matter to them.. The dealer (I believe) get reimbursed for that money. I am pretty sure if a dealer sells a car at GMS which I believe is below invoice, they get some kick back from GM. Not 100% though.
