Canadian SS Owners Post Your Liters/100KM
I just noticed a post by Scott indicating that his DIC is showing 13.8L/100km (17.04 miles/gallon). So I went and checked mine which has not been reset with a little over 600km and it show 16L/100KM (14.7 miles/gallon)
Mind you, that is pretty much all city driving. Scott and I both have the LS3.Post your stats LS3 or L99 Current KMS Type of Driving: City/Highway/Mixed Liters/100KM Want to covert to miles/gallon from liters/100km, go http://www.easysurf.cc/cnver4.htm#kgmg1 and look for the "Convert liters per 100 kilometers to miles per gallon" about 2/3 of the way down the page. My window sticker says 13.2/City (21 mpg) and 8.2/Highway (34 mpg). I maybe missing something but when I use these numbers in the above noted conversion calculator, I get 13.2 converting to 17.82 mpg and 8.2 converting to 28.68 mpg

13.2L/100 LS3 mixed driving conditions. I can say for sure i don't drive it to achieve the best fuel economy
![]() Oh and that is with about 740kms and i haven't reset the meter. Ken edit: P.S Mat those are probably imperial gallons. If you scroll down farther on that page there is a converter for imperial gallons to U.S. gallons

2500km on the car and get 14L/100km. The cars average speed shows 31km.
Your average speed on your car gives you a sense of whether you do more city or highway. Mines about 80% city and the other highway. If i reset it in the city, it shows about 16. The car is now definitly broken in. Just waiting to see if other v6 manuals are getting the same Franks SS has 350km on it and it shows 12.9 and his carhas never seen the highway. But hi average speed was a little higher then mine. |

Your window sticker MPG's are in Canadian gallons. A Canadian Gallon is bigger than an American Gallon. I believe the conversion factor is something along the lines of 1.2 |

LS3
5430 kms / 3374 miles (we go every where together since May 15) 50/50 city/highway 13.9 / 100 km 16.9 mpg 49.4 km/hr avg. 30.7 mph For the hell of it I have reset it again. I have done this a few times now. The best after 100 km is around 13.0 then slowly drifts back to around 13.7. PS I got the Skip Shift Eliminator today. Ive had enough. Tnx Scott.
