Allocation is the process where GM picks up dealer placed orders. Each dealership gets a certain amount every month depending on sales volume and other factors. Your dealer can place as many orders as they wish and they will all sit at event code 1100 until GM picks it up from your dealer.

I believe mine didn't show up close to 10 days after it was built, I actually got my vin # from Frank before it was on the site!!

Yeah that would be awesome. I have been talking with ssjoe about trying to set up a meet type thing in the Petco parking lot in Enfield on hazard avenue. He was working on getting that set up once we all got our cars. I also would love to try and make it down to Mark's - it sounds like a good time.

I'm glad to hear you car got sent right to CT too. I can't remember who now, but someone told me that the CT cars got railed to NJ first then sent back up to CT.

looks like you may have a twin in the neighborhood... the chevy website says there is a white 2SS/RS on its way to Davidsons. have you seen the ABM 2LT sitting in the showroom at Davidsons?

Funny you ask. Davidsons is only 2 miles from my house. I saw and sat in their first red lt1 dealer Camaro there a few months ago. They sold it immediately @ $5000.00 over MSRP !. I have not gone by there in a while but I will now. I tried to buy from them but they wanted $2500.00 deposit "not refundable" for any reason. Made no sense to me as they could have sold any Camaro I ordered and cancelled on in about 1 hour at MSRP. Anyway, they lost my sale. So far there are no new white Camaros in Ct as far as I can tell. What website do you see that on ?.

I saw it on chevy's website when you go to locate vehicle. the vin# is VIN: 2G1FK1EJ5A9132280 . my dad and i have been buying trucks and cars from them for years. we've never paid over invoice price. in fact the last 2 I bought were a little less than invoice. But then I haven't tried to get a hot car like a Camaro yet either... When I ordered my Equinox a couple of years ago I didn't even have to give a deposit and it came in about 6 or 7 weeks.

Davidson looks like a small old-time dealer but they have a reputation of selling more trucks than anybody for less than anybody around. They didn't know much about the Camaro (told me I couldn't order the 20" polished wheels with the RS pkg for example). Then the $2500.00 non refundable deposit made me run. They were at MSRP but I got bad vibes and ran. It didn't cost me anything and they lost a sale.
