The older one looked much better

You mean you can't see the similarity between the Impala and the Cruze?

The Impala cues look amazing.................... On the Impala. Here they look squished up, too tall, and forced. The current Cruze is MUCH more handsome and better looking.

Ehhh.....Not feeling it with this car. Don't completely hate it either, but it just looks like more an "A-B" car rather than having some sort of style to it like the current car has. Looks like Honda or Toyota created this, and not some that the new GM had their hands in.
I'm sure its probably a nice car. Need to see it in higher trim before I can put a final stamp on it, but I'd like to see a bit more aggression in that front end. I think the rear on the chinese version looks better for sure. Dang it GM.

The backend looks good. Besides that not so well. The side profile kinda looks Elantra like and that squished front end is weird...

Viewed the page about this up on Motortrend. Overwhelming majority of the comments are "bland", "honda/ toyota designed", "civic profile", "boring", "from best looking in the segment to average"...and so on and so forth....with a few favorable comments thrown in.

I remember when Toyota debuted the new Corolla. It even still has a 4 speed auto available! Honestly, I have never seen a car get such unanimous negative feedback/comments/replies. But lo and behold it's still the #1 seller I think the new Mazda 3 is excellently styled and look where that's getting them. This new Cruze is styled fine. It's a substantial visual difference and not just a new grill swap. Really interested in seeing the interior and the LTZ trim. I wonder if this Cruze is lighter than the current one? Is it the best looking in its class? No? Will it do better than better styled cars like the Focus, Mazda 3 of course. Based on the Dart sales people will see this Cruze first before a Dart

the new impala's look awesome, even better in person. I'd buy it if I needed a 4 door. Cruse not so much!

Here we go. GM found a character line that looks good. Can't wait for it to reach every other model in their line up. |

Chevy screws up a good design again!
Just read this article on motor trend's homepage, totally disappointed. They took a very nice looking Cruze and screwed it up! Just like they did with the 2013 Malibu This new cruze looks like A 2014 Impala,Malibu and Ford Focus had a threesome and this was there love child.
