50k even or below seems to be a realistic offer price. If the car were new with no miles then I could see 53 or 54k, but we're looking at a 1 year old used car. At 53k I'd advise you to save a couple more dollars and buy new, as a new car is a better alternative when you're spending that amount of money.

Good luck.

50k can would be market value 48k would be a good deal IMO. 46k would be a great deal.

auto car might be worth paying a tad more for because of the $1300 more gas guzzler.

if the car is stock it has tons of waranty so buying used is no issue at all. I bougth my 07 Z06 used which is quite a bit quicker and more fragile than this car in some ways. it was stock had waranty. no regrets. I am not sure if the owner who paid the extra 30k would share the never buy a used perfromance car attitude now ha ha.

these cars are pretty bullit proof. I would not hesitate to buy a used one. I just did not really have that option when I was buying. since it is used those I would try to leverage below 50k as I am sure nationaly you could pick up a new 13 for 50k.
Your talking about when there is a sizable difference in price between new and used. If they are close, as is the case here, why not buy new?

Even if you have warranty coverage, who needs the headaches? With my luck, the guy who drove the ZL1 into the pool would be the previous owner. Just my opinion.

Is that about $48k pre-tax then? Seems reasonable.

$50k OTD is pretty good. Don't forget the how fake the internet can be, everything turns into a pissing contest between people. "I paid 10k under sticker", "well I paid 15k under sticker", blah blah.

No, it's $50,000 plus I pay the taxes here in Mo.

It sounds like you guy's are saying its an ok deal, but not great. Am I fair in saying that?

For what it is worth, they are the only Dealership so far that has been willing to work with me on the price. Elco Chevy is ridiculous in what they think theirs are worth. And all the other Dealers nationwide don't want to move much off asking price either. Granted, I'm not there waving money in front of them, but I am a cash buyer.

If it were me... $48k. Knowing what I know now I'd pay up to what they want. The Z's are just awesome. When I bought mine I had no idea what a car she would be

If it's what you want and you think it's a good deal, pull the trigger. It's hard to mess anything up with 1,200 miles. Check the amount of wear on the back tires as I doubt they put new ones on.

There will always be Monday-morning quarterbacks.

I'm not scared of the car being abused. Not everyone beats on their ZL1. I am one I those people that won't. I will be able to tell a lot on how the car has been treated by looking at it.

My main concern is getting a good deal as I don't hold onto cars for long.
I'm always changing things up.

Lol, Love the picture with the MSRP shown, plus $4k in options, but the actual price? Hidden. Now, lets add uh, $6k+ in tax and your over 60k oh, forgot, 4k in options. I'm not picking on anyone here at all but lets be real. "Knumbnuts that owned it before.." was another quote, so if you own a Z that makes you... hmm Not everything is created equal despite what they tell you in school. Just sayin...
