Poor guy. The previous owner of said camaro that is. I'm leaving a job where I had a 114 mile round trip to work. Something very similar to what this guy was doing. I did it for 6 months and want to pull my hair out. Poor guy has been doing it for 4 years!

I picked up mine with 80,000 miles. Paid 20k for it. But to ease my mind the dealership also gave me a full 3 year power train warranty on the car.

I honestly wouldn't be scared of the mileage if proper maintenance was done. I'm guessing that car is due for a full service in the thousands of dollars range. I'd go through brakes, all new suspension, all fluids flushed, belts, etc.. Add all that to your 18k and you're likely back up to the price of one that has much less mileage.

145k on a 2011? Man what did the guy do with it drive it cross country endlessly. I wouldn't buy it, there are 2010's with 70k-85k going for $18k. Remember you's be making car payments on a vehicle that has mileage that equals that of a 10 year old car.

See the thing is I used to have an 86 Camaro (V6) I currently drive a 91 Z28 and I'm getting a little bored with the Z28 and hate the looks of 4th gens so they are out of question. I work 3 miles from home and average 6,000 miles a year. That includes just aimlessly driving around Lancaster Pa just cruising on the weekends. For me this would be something to have and just cruise with till I get settled down in life and eventually park it or sell it. I have no idea of the life span on 5th gens so thats why I was asking. If this could last me at least 4 or 5 years I would be totally happy. I do maintain my vehicles with oil, trans fluid, and brake fluid changes and always get a 6 month tune up (spring and fall) and check up from my dad's friend's shop. Don't get me wrong I like to push my Camaros alot too with burnouts and a little "highway fun" with my buddies. So if it would last I'd be completely happy.
