I can see hot bed areas that move them fast, but that is not they norm in this economy anymore. I can find a Shelby just add easy as a ZL1....

Head out to Autotrader...look for Z/28 in a 500mile radius. Wait until you see some of the prices being asked.

I've never seen more than 2 on the lot at the big dealerships here in the DFW. 6 allotments to one dealership would be unheard around here.

Or, maybe...the salesman at the dealership was saying that so you'd feel better buying one at sticker

Who knows! lol

High demade creates an almost ebay type environment. As long as people are willing to pay that price they move.

hmmmm I don't see how it can be unheard of when I can do it righ now buy it now on ebay as I am typing this.

granted they are real close to MSRP though. that was with 30seconds of looking though.

It seems like places in Texas are for high rollers where they're not discounting cars. I've never had a situation where I couldn't make a deal on a car....period. Sometimes the margins can be tight, but when determined (I believe) I could score just about anything. Heck even MSRP are sacrilegious words to me.

I've seen dealers get people for more than sticker, don't get me wrong; Its a situation that I never allow myself to get into for any car.

Ok. Unheard of in my circle I guess. People I know paid sticker or above. It is what it is if you want one around here.

Yes that just happen!
I still don't buy it. I worked at Ford dealers for years, and I know how it works. You aren't schooling me. LOL.

Facts don't lie, I easily showed you 6 that are still on the same lot! You said it " whatever this dealer had, ain't Shelby's (unless they are used). So yea, that was the school bell. But no hard feeling just don't try tio call someone our unless you've done your homework, it's just not cool.

I hear ya. I paid under MSRP for my 12 Boss. The Shelby is the only car I've ever paid sticker for.

The new 13/14 GT500's are selling out quickly and in some areas for over MSRP. There may not be a SVT performance mustang to replace it for a while. That makes these 662HP mustangs the baddest mustangs ever made. Will ford build another mustang with 700+HP some time in the future any ones guess at this point. The 5.8 trinity motor is gone.
