Your graph is pretty consistent with a great spot for a 3600 converter. You could do a 4000 also. It's all about efficiency.

That's just a big street converter problem.

I tend to agree. I see your also running an ADM trans cooler, which I guess would be a must with a 3600 stall. Question is, why the heck do they cost so much? I had a $60 B&M stacked plate cooler on my 4th gen, although admittedly it did spring a leak at a seam after a while.

6l80's run near 220-240 psi line pressure even in stock form. Built units run around 300 psi at wot, so you def want a good quality cooler!

My trans still sees 160 degree temps just cruising on the highway. The cooler is performing better than stock but I've seen other coolers bring temps down lower. They are far larger than the ADM though. The good thing about the ADM is, it uses GM hardware. No hose clamps and stuff like that. All GM lines and it looks factory. Very good setup.

Appreciate it Juice, but I'll just bite the bullet and get it ordered. Didn't know these trannys had such high line pressure, like Ryan pointed out. There goes a big chunk of my savings over a triple-disk.

Ya, the ADM piece is really a quality one. Uses all GM parts and can take the line pressure without a leak. I haven't read about one leaking yet. I'm sure they have sold quite a few.

I have yank they've been around for awhile and I've never heard of them having a peak of great product like fti, tci and others like that who had great reviews from people for a few years then horror stories. Circle d had been around also and I think as much business as the get from camaro 5 they have the 6l80 converter down to a science. If I were to keep the 6l80 I would have went with them but I trust yank with my 4l80 swap I've rode in and have seen several 4l80 cars with yank and like the way it worked and felt. It's all personal preference but you doing reasearch like this is a good thing.

Ya... horror stories only help you decide which converters NOT to get. Then you hear about the converters that work great. That's when the delima hits. ha
