We all know that no black Cars are going to show up. We all have freedom of speech in the US, now they may not have a job. That should not be the case, hiding info is not the way to make customers happy.

All the owners once they get their car will forget all about the wait. But as of now some are getting frustrated.

No, I did not take seriously. But the reps saying its QC, is totally not true, I had pics of the cars in the bayed lots waiting for transport. GM has to quit giving that excuse and just say, hay we are having trouble finding transportation because they will not go on rail, and give a ship date or let them know when it does. We know now they may ship and it will show bayed. That should not happen.

Folks, what everyone doesn't seem to understand is the fact that the railroad system has been backlogged for some time now. I dare anyone to try and get a railcar from point A to Point B quickly now days. It isn't going to happen. There is a myriad of reasons this is true … all one has to do is search. All car manufacturers have been, and still are, having trouble getting the right vehicles to the right dealerships in a timely fashion.

That should not have anything to do with the Z28. They go by truck?

I know it's still up there because the Onstar won't activate or locate the car because the service doesn't work in Canada (or so the they tell me)

Track season is wasting away
#68 was built on 4/16. This morning GM told me that on 5/5 it was "bayed for quality inspection and cleaning" and that process takes "72 business hours" and to check back later this week. I am over three hours from the dealership and also need to plan well ahead for delivery due to business travel commitments. This has been such a strange process so far that I could see anything happening from a call saying it is at the dealership tomorrow to a late June delivery. Seems like a marginal way at best to keep customers engaged from a business standpoint. Really looking forward to seeing the car someday.

#59 built on 4/15. Cleared QC on 5/5 and awaiting transportation. Who knows where it is? Dealer has thrown his hands up and said......"I'll call you when it gets here."

can you go and pick it up from the factory yourself?

you have to know someone with a truck and enclosed trailer

NO. That is never, ever possible.

Latest info from my salesman (awesome!) from a GM rep: "An engineering hold was removed today. So to my knowledge this can be shipped. It is a matter now of loading onto a train. Can’t give you a good eta until I see it on a train since we have had rail issues out of Canada also."

How about them apples bitchez? (said affectionately). Who to believe? What to believe? Somebody needs to step up and provide some bona fide, vetted information.

I just now got a phone call from customer service saying #57 is in QC and that they will have it on a rail car sometime.??? I said I just went to Arizona and bought one off the showroom! They still are insisting they are coming by rail. I know #57 is in bay U36 (I have pics of it)and waiting for transport.

Wow....everyone is getting worked up over this.

There is obvioulsy a communication issue somewhere, but what can be done about it, really? People can put a complaint into GM but how far will that go?

I understand what it is like to have to wait for the car. I had to wait for mine too, as did many other people. Mine was late getting to me too, but honestly there is not much that can be done except to wait for it to get delivered.

There will always be a delivery delay of some sort, whether it be waiting for trucks or for the weather to warm up for the tires to be ok (mainly for the 1LE).
