If it sits much longer it will have flat spots in the tires .First I get a very fancy mailer from GM

offering to double my 2000 GM points to $4000.00 on a 2014 Camaro SS that will expire on Feb 28th. So I try to cash in on the deal . there were no 2014 1SS,RS, 1LE Camaro's in CRT around ,so I order it anyway . Feb 14th they say on constraint we can't order it till after Feb 28 .So it was ordered on March 1st or 2nd.THEN IT WAS TO BE BUILT THE WEEK OF THE 21ST OF MARCH. Now it has been SHIPPING/ENROUTE SINCE march 28th. Today is May 12 and still Shipping / En route . Now with only $2000.00incentive on a 14 and only $1000.00 GM points allowed on a 2014 SS ,and the 2015's being shipped June Or July the deal is not so great considering model year loss value. Doe's GM think these cars are like fine wine or cheese and are worth more aged ? The deal keeps getting worse and takeing longer . Is it just me ,or is this unreasonable ? If this sounds like I'm ranting ,it's because I have never had to work so hard or wait so long to give up my money for a car . RQWKK0

Have you reached out to Becky in the Status Update thread to find out what official GM status code you are at? That sounds way too long. There has to be some sort of explanation for yours. Like a tree landed on it, or it fell off a box car while in transit and we're building another one.

No I haven't .Can you post a link ?
I have done live chat 3 or 4 times with no result.
At this point I a'm at a loss as to what to do . I want a CRT 1SS ,RS, 1LE ,but after waiting so long and missing out on the incentives I may just cancel ( and don't you worry about me looseing my deposit ,I won't ) and buy a used one if I can find one or a new 2015 .

Your salesman can give you detailed information including a railcar number that you can track yourself. If your order was truly placed 3/1, this is week 11 and that is extraordinarily long. I ordered 2/6 and I thought my 9 week was excessive. The poor communication shows you that you are not the customer, the dealer is.

The only solace is that all will be forgotten when that beauty arrives.

I ordered on March 13 and my TPW was 4/28. The car was invoice(completed) on 4/29. It has been showing SHIPPING/EN ROUTE for two weeks now. I hope to get mine soon as well. Like others have said your dealership should be helping you a bit in tracking this deal!

The Dealer can not force GM to ship the car any sooner. The General is in 100%complete control . GM has a system that they the dealer must follow .

Hey GONIF, THIS IS CRAZY!!! I ordered my car on March 3. The production date for a batch of 1LE's was 3/24/14! Got my VIN# on 3/25/14! It arrived in Baton Rouge, La on 4/14/14! Did you get a VIN#?

No ,not yet . Strange and getting stranger . But my 87 year old Dad said you still have your cash and your still ( relatively ) young enough to wait and buy what you want . Very frustrating non the less.

Forgot to say my order number was RQTRRM, yours is RQWKKO! Do you rekon that they go in alphabetical order? I know that the ones that are pre-sold are built first, did they not make enough to fulfill existing orders and moved you to the next production? I am going to try and find some answers, no BS!

event history for the order and there should be a
railcar # on there. Get that and we can show you
how to track it

Update ,called the 1-800-222-1020 number live chat gave me .After a 12 min wait on hold they tracked it and they said it was on a rail car somewhere in Kansas headed to the dealer in Mesa AZ. It now has a real Vin number too . But still no ETA .
