Ofer, from what I remember, we had disconnected the HUD that was in my car, and then connected the Color HUD, and it was at this point that the fuse was blown.

Ofer.......I'm waiting on my MyLink w/t bu camera cuz my SS is a manual trans. So how soon can u get this color hud and dic deal going???????

I'd like to do it all at one time......

Probably just like the current one but with more info. On our current one we can change what is viewed in the HUD, like outside temp, speed, and tach. Or just the speed and tach, or just the speed. I'd call those different pages.

So you purchased an entire 2013/14 dash along with the HUD & gauges? That's got to be expensive. Will you list out your part#'s?

Woah! I'd love to have the HUD and gauges but not for those prices. I'll be living vicariously through you on this one, lol. Good luck and can't wait to see it all completed!

I want to do the updated color HUD/DIC set up and I plan on replacing the dash because I want the leather inserts that come on the newer Camaros. The only thing that worries me is loosing any factory functions. Seems like every time I read about some one doing an upgrade of something, they loose some factory function. that's why I don't change my stereo head unit out because I want to keep my onstar / xm , etc intact. I appreciate all you guys doing these upgrades and working the bugs out for us !! it helps so much to alleviate a lot of worries about doing these things.

If you upgrade with factory items, you don't lose factory functionality. For example, retrofitting MyLink into pre-2013 cars. I just did it to my 2011 and retained all previous factory functionality and added a whole lot more.
