Hi All,

I just recently bought new 2014 Camaro 1LT. I have liked it so far. I have few questions. I want to add backup camera to it and also would like to upgrade audio but would like to keep Mylink.

I live near Cincinnati, Ohio can anyone refer me to good install shop for it? Will any of those effect my warranty? I asked dealership i bought it from they said they do not add updates to electronic stuff.

Also would like to know is getting wheels powder coated a nice idea? How much will it cost, is it durable? And in case i don't like it can i go back? Is there a way to see powder coated Camaro wheels if someone has picture of them?

If you want to try out a color on your wheels, find the color you want in Plasticoat,that way if you don't like it you can just peel it off and you're not loosing north of $125 a wheel if you don't like the color.

Thanks steakmaker. I thought of that but problem is i do not have good jack and jack stands. Also also haven't done any painting project in my life. I will give it a try.

Also have a 2014 LT. Looking to add the back-up cam. I've heard you can just plug one into an existing harness under the bumper and have a dealer reprogram MyLink, but I'm hoping to hear from someone who can verify.

Any advise?

for the cam.. do a search on this forum. someone did it to their '13 with factory supplies, then all they had to do was have the dealer "turn" it on.

plastidip is easy. if you can use a spray paint you can do it. you just protect the tire so it doesnt get on there.
