Didn't know I was suppose to ask her permission before buying the car. Would be funny if she had a GM product in her garage and didn't know it!

haha I couldn't get a word in edgewise with her ranting. She really flew off the edge when she saw my Cavalier sitting there. My looks to her were probably priceless. Wish I could of know what she was driving and that she was driving a GM product and didn't know it.

The only crap I get is from friends that own Mustangs. All very lame jabs. I pulled into the gas station the other day - next to a Mustang. A little kid in the car behind me gets out and asks his father what type of cars they are. The father asks him which one he likes better and he says the Camaro. He then came up and asked if he could take a picture of mine

when i first got the car my coworker bought a base lexus v6 model and wanted to race me saying his lexus was better than my camaro. All my other friends are very respectful. I only get crap from a friend that drives an STI, but nothing bad we joke around that way

it seems you only get respect from real car people. anyone that talks crap about another persons car usually drives a non performance vehicle(yes i consider my v6 a performance car)

Upon announcing the purchase of my ZL1, my Corvette elitist brother asked if I was going to get a "Joe Dirt" personalized lisence plate. I thought it was funny and decided then to use that as my Avitar on this site.

He also says that the women he knows look down on a Camaro. As if a Vette is held in higher regard. GeZz

I then sent him this picture with the question. Do your Camaro hating super model girlfriends groove on this look when you pull up in your Vette?

A kid that works for me has a '13 STI that he just spent 10k on the motor and still can't get it to run right said he will run me for $100 and I told him that will not be enough to get me to pull the keys out of my pocket. Haven't heard from him since.

Make it fun. What I do is find a charity to donate to. Last time it was a Boy's Club? that was getting started.

Race for $500. Both show up with checks made out to the charity. Winner gets the checks. It's up to you whether to give both the checks, or just one.
