That is interesting. However I'm confused now because I did a live chat w/ Chevy people and I asked them if they had an expected timeline for shipping (based on this article) and they told me I'm at event code "4200" - so...I have to wait for my salesman to get in on Monday and we'll have to dig deeper...they told me this only shortly after you had posted this, however I got busy and didn't have a chance to reply...anyways, hopefully Monday will bring more info!

Hi. Becky, I'm a new member and see how much you help every member. Could you check the status of my order, I haven't been able to get a straight answer from my dealer lately. RSFV3F in NY. That's soooooooooo much :-)

I don't track the railcars, but I do know that it
will say "no status" and if you call back later there
is a status. I currently show 4200-shipped so it's
en route. The train may stop for a day or two
sometimes, but I promise it will get to it's destination :becky"

At what stage do the cars get a VIN? Is it when they are completely finished, or when they first start? Just curious. Would like to know my VIN whenever it's available. You've been so kind Becky, and I greatly appreciate all that you've done.
