Question NPP Dual mode with kooks cat delete?

Hello fellow 1LE Camaro enthusiasts. I am fairly new to this site so please keep anything rude away from this thread. I'm looking for some answers. I am a proud owner of a '13 1LE, and have recently been looking to start modding a little bit to this already stellar car. I'm not interested in dropping too much money at this time due to school, bills, insurance, etc etc. I've recently come across a good deal for a pair of Kooks catalytic delete pipes, and I'm not too sure if it will fit on my stock setup. I have the npp dual mode that came factory with my 1le. I'm looking to get kooks headers in the future when the money is there, but right now I'm not looking to pass up this good deal for the cat deletes. If anyone has any good answers, I am all ears.(eyes) Any help is appreciated! Wondering if the kooks cat deletes will fit properly with the dual mode exhaust and stock headers!

Thanks,
Jake

Just remember the Christmas tree your dash will be with no cats, or 02 Sims, or a tune.

I'm running kooks LT's, kooks high flow cats, and QTP cutouts with the NPP exhaust....sounds great! Just as good (if not better) as any aftermarket exhaust

What brand camshaft did you end up putting in your 1le? Anything else done to the engine? Thanks for your post!

Jake,

The Kooks cat delete pipes will only work with Kooks headers. How much are you getting them for?

Best regards,

Tyler

Yep, Part # 6511-OEMC is what you need. It comes with the headers, catted connection pipes, 02 extensions and hardware. The only thing I suggest adding on would be a new set of GM manifold gaskets.

Feel free to give me a call or send me a PM with any questions. I'll be happy to point you in the right direction.

Best regards,

Tyler
