There is no doubt that right now, the GT500 is king of the hill. Why can't people just accept that .. LOL

Ummm , i believe the the C6 Z06 is king of the hill over the GT500! And if you really want to compare apples to apples it would be the (ZR1 vs Ford GT) (Camaro SS vs Mustang GT) (C6 Z06 vs GT500) all are stock and covered with warranty to... and your not even going to try and tell me im wrong because im 100% correct (your not comparing price to price so dont even try)

LOL, the super snake was a terribly overpriced piece of junk. But i guess if you had to put it against something then the ZR1 would do just fine

Corvette = 2 door sports car
GT500 = 2 door coupe, room for four

It just happens to have similar HP to the Z06

GT500

In the Race with the GT500 it seemed to me that it was the SS spinning its wheels at start, yes?

Also, the heat with the '68 Camaro was dead even, which is interesting to me now, a N/A 1968 chevy engine displacing 406 probably has much more torque than the 376ci LS3, but lags behind in HP by probably a lot, given stock heads and manifold/carb maybe giving up 80hp, giving and taking for mods.

I just bought a 1968 Firebird for $7500 great shape, and thinking about stroking a 400 pontiac to @461-468, it will probably take the new SS then! maybe not having enough money will end me up with a faster car after mods. sweet.

Love all the ford guys comin to the rescue of the performance and financially unsound GT500.

Whatev...if you like fords and have bokou cash to spend on a stang...go ahead.

The chevy guys with Bokou cash can go through multiple vendors to purchase a vehicle that will outdo the GT500...and still have a warranty.

Last time i checked...You can't Mod A shelby...even at the dealer and keep the warranty.

Look...Ford Guys...This is Chevy Site (Not officially...its just presumed when you log onto a GM Car site)

You can fog the fact that the GT500 is not a good buy at all and its still using some pretty old tech (Ford still did a good job with the SRA...but cmon..its 2009)

Also...that blower...the only reason the 500 beats the camaro...and barely...plus..I want to see that blown engine (Roots i mind you) make a couple passes without having to stop and let it cool down...and also have to factor in the fall-off they have at higher speeds.

I am not nay-saying the GT500...I am just pointing out the facts...Why didn't ford build a N/A motor for it?

Well anyways...we all lose in the end...come 2016...there will not be any new Camaros, Mustangs, Vettes, Cobras,..etc.

Just buy the cars you love...and we'll hit the track to test your love for your car...MUWAHAHAHA

The punchline is that there is no reason to mod the Shelby....

Enjoy your mods
