Strut tower brace hot!
Has anyone noticed how hot the brace get? Since it touches the hood liner I wonder if this could be an issue come the hot summer temperatures.
Just installed and drove 3 miles, almost too hot to touch. |

It won't get hot enough to actually burn anything; your skin maybe, but nothing under the hood. The hood blanket is actually an insulator/fire retardant. They are supposedly supposed to fall and smother the engine in the event of a fire.

Yep too hot to touch. Annoying when I want to lean on it to look at something.
