It will carry the rest of the factory warranty. I told them in addition to checking the clutch I want the computer scanned to make sure it wasnt tuned or clocked back to stock and to flush both the rear and the brake/clutch fluid

Sorry, voted for the 1LE.
Love the suspension on the 1LE, and thinks the ZL1 suffers in corners with the added engine weight. The balance isnt appreciated with the ZL1 in front. More power doesnt equate to better handling. Paint can be replaced, but sweetness cant. ![]() 2c |

Zl1 its a 2014 so i'm assuming its under warranty. take the car to a different dealership and have them look into the clutch problem. or you could always replace the clutch with a batter performing aftermarket clutch.

I would take the ZL1 to another dealer, have it checked out, if the clutch is worn, make the dealer in question replace it. As said, have all fluids changed, scan the ECM, and go over it with a fine tooth comb. Don't take their techs word for shit, have them put it on a rack and YOU look at it, or bring your own mechanic. If everything checks out, go for it...

Also, you can take your 1LE to a different dealer and say "What's with the paint on my car?" Good chance it'll be warranted, and make them repaint the car correctly. I bet they just did a sloppy job repainting the car at your dealer in order to save money from a high deductible, and not wanting a record of it. Some kid could have had a toy and climbed all over it and scratched a lot of panels thru the clear coat pretty easy...i can see it happening.
