And I waited this long. I think I am just gunna hold out and wait for my order to come in, hopefully it just makes it that much sweeter wen I drive off in a car that I know was built for me.

And sweet it will be...

Watch for 3400 the week before your TPW. That means it will really be built. The Chevy online tractor will jump to 4 the night after it's built and has a VIN. Then you've got to wait for hood wrap and a rail car. You are relatively close to the plant so shipment shouldn't take too long. It seems like transit times have improved since winter so hopefully 2-3 weeks from production to delivery.

Congrats,
I have never ordered a car in my life. To go through the process was an awesome experience for me. Enjoy the roller coaster, the ride does't last long. If you have delays, when the car finally arrives, the car will make you forget, and you will be full of permagrin.

that's crazy how long it will be queued for production and then the production really only takes a week. I should have booked a flight up there and built this beast myself !! There is a car show around me on June 29th, I really hope I have it by then so I can show it off !

I was told by someone that lives by the factory, that the car is built in a day. This guy got pictures from the factory holding area. Check out my original post called Yellow Jacket for some pictures, maybe that can give you an idea!

When I picked up my 2006 trailblazer SS they had it in the showroom, but they didn't let me drive it out. They pulled it out of the showroom and then turned over the keys haha.

Congrats. I had my 2ss vert ordered in march 21and picked it up may 7-8. The whole thing took 7-8 weeks. As for being the first to drive it I'm not so sure, mine had 5,miles don't know why but I guess they need to drive it for gas and stuff. Its worth the wait. Congrats again.

To pass the time

To help with the anticipation a little, look for a special called "Mega Factories" , it was on the discovery or History channel. It has an episode completely dedicated to the whole build process of the 5th Gen Chevrolet Camaro. It was awesome to see exactly how our cars were built.
