I did this to my car with a leather coloring kit.
 After a year of daily driving I only had a couple spots very small peel off. I fixed it this weekend.

To be very honest, This is the first time I've signed up and used a forum for anything. I must admit you guys are awesome! I like all the suggestions and guidance you've provided and I will recommend this site to my friends.
