D1SC blower

Let me start by saying my car is completely stock except for the cold air inductions intake with 3100 miles. I'm exploring the possibilities of adding more hp to my car. I have been researching and planning for about 3 months. Here is a quote to do my car and I'm wondering if its a good deal or not? Headers will need to be added to this list. Will the stock internals in the engine will hold this much HP? With this setup the car should make around 7-740 at the wheels.

Looks like a pretty good list with reasonable prices. I see you got the fueling covered but what injectors? Dont skimp on the injectors.

Yes the D1 will get you mid 700s no problem but the tune better be spot on as well as the fueling.

Meth?

The stock rear and axles should hold up ok as long as you dont add sticky tires or do clutch dumps at 4000rpms. When it does go consider the offerings from GForce Engineering

Don't waste your money on that garbage clutch. If you're gonna go through the trouble of upgrading it get a real one like a Mantic 9000 or RPS.

I would personally go with an ECS kit, and forget the transmission work.

Thanks for your response. I was thinking 65 lb but after looking a little deeper I'm thinking about going with 85 lb injectors. I really want to stay away from meth. That's the reason for the Squash dual in take fuel pump. When the time comes I will look at the Drive Shaft Shop for the DSS 9'' independent rear conversion kit it comes with 1400HP axles. I have heard nothing but good things about Gforce as well but I want to stay local when possible. With Pfadt and Pedders out of business who makes good suspension parts with solid subframe bushings? I'm in no hurry to make all this happen as I'm still in the early stages of planning.

Thanks, I will look into it as they are similar in price.

Turbo kit for $6700 with make better power band, more torque, more upgradability later, and save you on the cam/headers.

Skip tranny work. Nothing wrong with stock tranny. Mantic, RPS, etc for clutch.
