Your going over 100 and you don't have your seat belt on?

Wear your belt you don't want to be part of the cull.

I don't move the Camaro into triple digit territory. But on the bike, once the speedometer goes over 70 I stop looking down. Eyes up.

Pulled over once for 117 in a 65 about 7-8 years ago. I was getting tailgated pretty badly so I just downshifted and took off. At the time I had a 02' WS6 with a 408, so speed built up pretty quickly.

I was pulled over, cussed for being an idiot, told me I deserved to go to jail etc etc. and handed me a ticket for less than 10 over. I had gotten overly lucky and the cop that I was pulled over by knew me from a charity event that I put together the week before.

Sounds dumb but I really wish I could of gotten a picture. As I was pulled over by one of the last Z28 Highway Patrol cars.

I've driven triple-digits a half dozen times or so, but always on a long flat country road with good visibility of what's ahead. Haven't been stopped (knock knock).

I did get stopped by a trooper a couple of months ago, doing 73 in a 55 - also on a country road. Told him I was late for church (which I was - no lie). He quickly checked my license and insurance and told me to "slow it down", and I was on my way at 62 mph.

I haven't gotten too crazy in my Camaro, yet. But I used to live in a foreign country with a really nice toll road system. The best part about the toll roads was there are no cops on the road. Drive it like you stole it time. I maxed out my Kawasaki ZZR7 at just under 300 kph. It was Euro spec so no USA nannies.

Coming back from Kirkland Lake Ontario, way up north!, in a Corvette, I got pulled over late at night for doing 200 kph. 126 mph. He was heading north, I was going south. Knew I was busted so pulled over, turned on the dome light and kept my hands on the steering wheel. Cop was very nice, said he had a Camaro himself. After we sat in his cruiser for a bit and he showed me the readout he wrote me a ticket for 9 kph over! Needless to say I was thrilled! Told me to watch out for moose and that the road was clear from where he pulled me over south to North Bay. Said have fun, be careful and watch out for the North Bay OPP as they are not so forgiving!

I got caught doing 94 in a 70 and had to pay $475.00. Since it was my first offense I would receive No Points on license, if I take a Drivers Safety Class. Which I did for an additional cost of $35.00. This was over ten years ago. FHP told me that if I was over 100, It would have been automatic jail and car impound. Also since State Trooper Cars now have video uplinks to dispatch, Officer discretion is no longer an option if over 100 MPH in FL.

The United States takes driving soooooo much differently than Europe. We need to adapt the policies European countries have. The entire system and their laws are built arund the idea that driving fast is not dangerous. Idiot drivers in unsafe or ill equipped cars driving fast is what's dangerous.

For those who have never done it, a short video for tittilating your sensibilities:

It's nice to have a vehicle capable of such.

If u were driving reckless I would arrest you on the spot and if u werent being reckless and it was ur first offense then u would be issued a fine and have ur license possibly suspended for 30 days by the courts. If this was ur 2nd or 3rd time then thats a different story.

Just depends by state. Here in California anything over 100 is a 2 point infraction. Kiss ur low insurance premium goodbye.
Good to know.....you don't patrol SoCal do you?
