Since your car is made in Canada, you should find a hockey stick shift knob

real easy install. Not sure about the original picture lol

I removed the plastic bezel piece around it.

Removed the 4 screws that are under it.

The stock shifter comes off with a little elbow grease.

The shifter came with a adapter that fits on top of the OEM one, screwed the new shifter on.

Reinstalled the boot along with a zip tie.

and Bam

Real men get the blade part of the sword installed as a shifter.

What did you use the zip tie for?

And why do you guys care what I put in my car, it's not like you will ever see it. Quit coming in here and trashing my thread.

Because that's one of the most impractical, ridiculous shifters we've all ever seen lol. Dude it's like a foot long... As you're entitled to like it, we're entitled to laugh at it.

I assume you are joking about this particular shift knob. If that is really what you want then, wow.

That thing is ridiculous enough in a Japanese car, but a foot long Samurai shifter in a Camaro??? It's your car so by all means do what you like, but you better get used to the comments.

The zip tie is to hold the boot snug around the shifter. All OEM shifter's have this as well.

Here is a video

You're putting a Japanese sword shifter that is meant for ricers in an American car. That's why we care because we don't want riced out camaros with sword dildo shifters, "rocket ship" fart can mufflers, all while running open MANIFOLDS. Not headers, manifolds. Every thread you ask a question in gets more and more ridiculous and it just screams trolling.
